Frank Gady - Sculpture

I started working as an artist in 1995 at the age of 43. I have consistently applied the lessons learned to become a better servant to the creative source from which we all materialized. I am tremendously fortunate to be able to get up each day and have an opportunity to create something new.

I am primarily a builder of objects. I like my work to engage the viewer with its interesting presence and strength of spirit/character. I try to push myself to make new objects using the lessons learned from previous accomplishments. I don't start with any given image or concept/plan. Each new work is a journey into the unknown which yields something different and unique. I try to just be there to enable the process to occur and then I look and think about the result. Most of the time I am able to let go and allow the work to represent itself. This process is satisfying to me and keeps me engaged. My mistakes are just as important to me as the successes. My life and art are integrated and there could not be one without the other.

Art means many things and requires various skills. I try to give my work integrity by using all the skills available to me in the production of any given work. My collectors are my motivation to continue to produce and the Creator is my inspiration and source of courage and imagination. I like what I do and hope that some of my work will be enjoyed by some of you. Thank you and may we all strive each day to be creative.
